Special Memories

BCT has provided Megan with such a wonderful introduction to theater over the past few years. Not only has she forged some great friendships through BCT, she has learned the importance and value of starting from scratch with a team and creating something very special and magical not only for the audiences, but for themselves as well. BCT has created some special memories for Megan as well as the rest of our family.

Great Thing Going

We first learned about BCT last year, when my then 8-yr old son told me he wanted to “be in a play”. What we thought would be just “another activity” truly turned into an amazing experience for my son and our whole family. Being in a well-run group theater production really taught our son about team work, creativity, responsibility, openness and all while having so much fun. Of course, my son doesn’t realize that’s what he learned; he just thinks the experience was “totally awesome”. But as his parents, we saw those character traits grow! Miss Amanda, Andrew and the whole team have really got a great thing going at BCT and we are excited to see where they take it!

Fred Hargrove Young Artists in collaboration with Buckeye Community Theatre proudly present Singin' in the Rain, Jr!

Singin' in the Rain Jr. has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline – the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item, but behind the scenes, things aren't always as they appear on the big screen. Meanwhile, Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career in "talking pictures" without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her. With singing, acting and tapping, you'll enjoy this upbeat take on the movie classic!
